  • December, 2009: My IPRO (IPRO 327 - A Video Annotation and Indexing System) just won the Information Technology Track in the Fall, 2009 IPRO competition. Congrats, team!

  • May, 2009: I just won the 2009 Computer Science Department Teacher of the Year Award! Thanks to all my students again!
  • May, 2009: I just got my first patent allowed: Method for Improving Local Descriptors in Peer-to-Peer File Sharing., Filed by the Illinois Institute of Technology. Pending application number 11/602,039, allowed May 7, 2009 (Co-Inventor: Ophir Frieder).
